Gyandeep Bihar RTE School Admission 2025-26 PDF: The Education Department of the Bihar Government has established the GYANDEEP portal to facilitate the enrollment of boys from disadvantaged groups in non-profit private schools approved under the Right to Education Act 2009. This initiative, in accordance with Section 12(1)(c) of the Act and Rule 11 of the Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011, aims to provide reimbursement of funds to schools for enrolling boys from vulnerable communities.
Bihar RTE Admission Portal Online Registration Started for 2025-26
This academic year, the Bihar State Government’s Education Department has proactively initiated the online admission process for the 2025-26 academic year under the Right to Education (RTE) quota. The Bihar RTE Gyandeep portal (gyandeep-rte.bihar.gov.in) is set to go live on December 26, 2024, facilitating online registration for entry-level classes in all government-aided private schools. RTE Bihar Admission 2025-26: Eligibility Criteria
Enrollment for the educational term 2025-26 at the Gyandeep Bihar RTE School welcomes individuals who satisfy the subsequent requirements:
Underprivileged Group (DG): This classification encompasses youngsters from Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Minority Groups, whose parents or legal guardians receive an annual income of no more than ₹1,00,000.
Economically Disadvantaged Section (EWS): Kids falling within this segment hail from all castes and communities and have parents or legal guardians with an annual income not exceeding ₹2,00,000.
Bihar RTE Admission 2025-26 Required Documents
- Birth certificate, hospital or nurse records, Anganwadi records, or a declaration from the child or guardian regarding age.
- Caste certificate.
- Income certificate.
- Domicile certificate, Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Driving license, Rent agreement, or Electricity bill.
If a Domicile Certificate is not available, parents or guardians must upload a residence certificate for their child on the portal through the school within three months of the child’s admission. An Aadhar card for the parents or guardians is required, and the Aadhar card for the child must be submitted within three months of admission. The school headmaster will upload the child’s Aadhar card to the Gyandeep portal. A mobile number for the parent or guardian is also necessary. Additionally, a recent color passport-sized photograph of the child (maximum size 50 kb) is required.
Bihar RTE Admission 2025-26 Lottery Result
The list of selected students will be submitted for the online lottery scheme. The District Educational Officer will conduct the draw event and compile a complete merit list of the applicants.
- Applicants have the option to select five schools that are closest to their respective blocks.
- The first priority is assigned to those schools located within a one-kilometer radius of the applicant’s residence.
- The second priority is for schools situated within a distance of up to three kilometers from the applicant’s home.
- The third priority applies to schools within six kilometers of the applicant’s residence.
- Seat allocation will be conducted through an Online Lottery Scheme.
- Once a school is assigned, it will ensure that no discrimination occurs in any form.
