Subsequently, in 2020-2021, the number rose to 295,807, and in 2021-2022, it further climbed to 345,667. The most recent data for 2022-2023 shows a total of 367,453 enrollments, reflecting a positive trend in the educational inclusion of children from marginalized backgrounds.
Bihar RTE School Admission: Reimbursement Status
Section 12(2) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act outlines the process for reimbursing Private Unaided Schools for admitting children under Section 12(1)(c). This reimbursement is based on the per-child expenditure notified by the State or the actual amount charged by the school, whichever is less. The reimbursement supports the expenditure incurred for 25% admissions in private unaided schools under Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act, and has been facilitated under Samagra Shiksha since 2014-15 (formerly under SSA).
