10 New Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools Opening in India During July 2026: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially started operationalizing several newly sanctioned Kendriya Vidyalayas across different states of India during July 2026. These schools were originally approved by the Government of India as part of the proposal to establish 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country.

After the sponsoring authorities completed the transfer of land and provided suitable temporary accommodation, KVS has issued official office orders allowing these schools to begin functioning from the Academic Session 2026-27.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Theni – First Officially Operational School

According to the official KVS Office Order issued on 08 July 2026, Kendriya Vidyalaya Theni has been permitted to begin functioning after the sponsoring authority transferred the required land and temporary accommodation to KVS.
