Restoration of Commuted Pension: DoP&T Forwards AIDEF Letter
Restoration of Commuted Pension: AIDEF Letter to DoP&PW: The Pensioners Associations have been consistently corresponding with the Government of India, urging for the restoration of the commuted portion of pension after 12 years instead of the current 15 years. Recently, the Employees Federations have also joined in the demand for full pension restoration after 12 years.
This push for change has led to a formal representation being forwarded to the Department of Pension and Pensioner Welfare by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) for their prompt attention and necessary action.
