1. The OFOC Requirement (Online Counseling)

Following the provisional list, the university will publish a shortlist requiring candidates to submit an Online Form of Counseling (OFOC) . This indicates your willingness to take admission . If a student fails to submit the OFOC within the stipulated window, their name will be dropped entirely from subsequent admission lists .

2. Merit Panel & Tie-Breaking Policy

Selections are based strictly on CGPA/marks achieved in the UG Honours/Single Major examination . If a tie occurs between candidates with identical CGPA values, the selection priority follows this structural hierarchy :

  1. Marks obtained in the Minor Subject (NEP)
  2. Marks obtained in the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination
  3. Marks obtained in the Madhyamik (Class X) Examination
  4. Seniority based on Date of Birth

3. Year-Of-Passing Restrictions

Only candidates who graduated their undergraduate degrees in 2024, 2025, and 2026 from a recognized board/university are eligible to apply . Anyone who passed on or before 2023 will not be considered .

4. Reservation Percentages

State-mandated reservation percentages are applied strictly as follows :

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 22%
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 6%
  • OBC-NCL: 7%
  • Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10%
  • Differently Abled (DA): 5% horizontal reservation within each category .

  • Strict 15-Day Attendance Rule: If a provisionally admitted student fails to maintain a minimum of 50% class attendance during the first 15 working days from the official start of classes, their admission stands canceled automatically .
  • Semester Examination Eligibility: Students must maintain a minimum threshold of 75% attendance across both regular classes and tutorials within a semester to sit for final semester assessments .
