Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal 2024-25: The Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal (TNSSP) serves as a comprehensive, single-window platform that consolidates all scholarship schemes provided by various departments of the state. This user-friendly portal aims to streamline the entire process of scholarship disbursement by offering an end-to-end solution.
From facilitating online student registration and application verification to sanctioning and disbursing scholarships through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), TNSSP ensures a seamless process. By adopting a simplified and transparent approach, the portal expedites the approval and fund allocation process, depositing the financial assistance directly into the beneficiaries’ accounts without any complexities. Additionally, TNSSP acts as a common interface for all stakeholders involved, including students, colleges/institutions, and welfare departments, enabling efficient access to both Central and State Government scholarship schemes.
Announcement: To proceed with the Scholarship Application process, it is essential to have a valid UMIS ID generated through the UMIS Portal. If you do not already have an UMIS ID, please contact your Institute’s UMIS Nodal officer for guidance and assistance in enrolling in the UMIS Portal.
Instruction: For BC/MBC (Institutions) applicants who have chosen the fee recommendation option, please ensure to submit all necessary documents to the designated DBCW on or before the 20th of May, 2024. It is crucial to adhere to this deadline to ensure the timely processing of your scholarship application.

Announcement – Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department
The Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department is pleased to announce that for the academic year 2023-2024, fresh scholarship applications are now being accepted from eligible SC/SCC/ST first-year students starting from 01.02.2024. It is important for all SC/SCC/ST students to submit their application forms on or before 31.07.2024 to be considered for the scholarship.
Moreover, the renewal process for existing scholarship recipients has been enabled on 18.12.2023. All institutions are kindly requested to verify and update the academic details of students and submit the renewal applications promptly.
In case any students have not been listed for renewal, they will be treated as fresh applicants. Institutions are required to enroll these students in the University Management Information System (UMIS) to ensure they are considered for the scholarship award.
