TASMAC, the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation, has updated its holiday and leave days list for public convenience. They operate two types of stores, standard and elite, selling alcoholic drinks. The latest TASMAC wine shop in TN is open every day from noon to 10 pm. Customers can enjoy a wide selection of wines on weekdays and weekends. TASMAC stores are open daily, including Sundays, for customers to purchase their preferred beverages.

TASMAC Holidays Due to Lok Sabha Election 2024

During the upcoming Lok Sabha Election in 2024, TASMAC Holidays in Tamil Nadu are scheduled to observe a lockdown for four consecutive days from April 17 to April 19, creating a period of stringent restrictions. Following this lockdown phase, a phase of relaxations will be initiated to provide some respite to the residents. However, the lockdown will be reinstated on June 4, albeit with limited activities allowed to resume, marking a transition from strict control to a more flexible operational framework.

TN TASMAC Shops Closed – 21st April and 1st May 2024

On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti Day on 21.04.2024 (Sunday), a directive has been issued to close all Tasmac liquor retail outlets and allied outlets in Chennai district as a mark of respect and honor for these special days. This decision aims to promote a sense of restraint and observance within the community, recognizing the significance of the occasion. Similarly, on 01.05.2024 (Wednesday) on the occasion of May Day, these establishments will also remain closed, ensuring that the spirit of both celebrations is upheld and embraced by all in the community.

Local Festival Holiday in Ariyalur 2024

A special local holiday has been officially announced for all government offices and educational institutions in Ariyalur district on the 25th of April 2024, a Thursday. This holiday is in honor of the sacred Arulmiku Kaliyuga Varadaraja Perumal temple situated in Ariyalur district and Kallangurichi village. As a result of this holiday, the 4th of May 2024, a Saturday, will be designated as a full working day to make up for the holiday observed on the 25th of April 2024.
