First, go to the National Voters Services Portal’s official website. Then, find the section labeled “Correction of entries in electoral roll” and give it a click. A new page will pop up; on this page, select “Form 8” to access the correction request form for your voter card. Fill in the necessary details such as your State, Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency, name, electoral roll part and serial number, gender, age, and family information including your father/mother/husband’s name.

Provide your complete address and if you have a voter ID card, input its details like the card number, issuance date, issuing state, and constituency. After entering these details, upload supporting documents like a recent photo, a valid ID, and proof of address.

Choose the specific details you wish to correct/change by clicking on the “My Name” tab for altering the name on your voter ID. Specify your location (city) and include the date of your name correction request submission. Share your contact details (phone number, email), review the provided information for accuracy, and then hit the “Submit” button.
