TNSTC Apprentice Educational Qualifications 2024
Category – I Graduate Apprentices:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology obtained on a full-time basis with First Class distinction from a recognized University in the corresponding field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology earned on a full-time basis with First Class distinction from an Institution accredited by an Act of Parliament to grant such degrees in the relevant field.
- Successful completion of professional body graduate examinations acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as being on par with the qualifications mentioned above.
Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A full-time Engineering or Technology Diploma accredited by a State Council or Board of Technical Education designated by the State Government in the corresponding field.
- A full-time Engineering or Technology Diploma granted by a University in the related field.
- An Engineering and Technology Diploma from an Institution recognized by the State or Central Government as on par with the aforementioned qualifications.
Category – III Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- Attainment of a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Humanities, like BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA, etc., on a full-time basis from a recognized Statutory University or Deemed University in the applicable discipline – endorsed by the UGC.
TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment Age Limit 2024
Enrollment in the apprenticeship program must adhere rigorously to the age restrictions outlined in the Apprenticeship Rules. This guarantees that only candidates falling within the designated age bracket can qualify for and engage in the program.
TNSTC Apprentice Training Period 2024
The Apprenticeship program necessitates a commitment of twelve months, aligning with the directives outlined in the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act of 1973. Throughout this extensive training period, apprentices will partake in immersive learning encounters and hands-on skill enhancement, all closely supervised by seasoned mentors and instructors within their selected area of expertise.
Note: Individuals who have finished or are currently participating in an apprenticeship program under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or have accumulated one year or more of pertinent work experience, should be aware that they do not meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the specified position.
TNSTC Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process 2024
The task of assembling a list of candidates from the details submitted in the online applications has been entrusted to the Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR). Selection for the shortlist will be determined by the percentage of marks attained in the specified qualification relevant to the field of each candidate. Successful candidates will be notified via their designated email address upon making it to the shortlist. Those selected must participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNSTC, Trichy.

Kindly be informed that no transportation or daily allowance will be extended for attendance at the certificate verification session.
