Category – I Graduate Apprentices in Engineering and Technology specifically within Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering are being sought. There are a total of 18 training places available for these apprenticeships. The monthly stipend for these apprenticeships is set at Rs.9000, providing financial support during the training period. The duration of the training is one year, during which the apprentices will gain valuable practical experience in their chosen fields.

Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, specifically in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering, have the opportunity to train in a specialized field. There are a total of 61 training places available for aspiring apprentices. During the training period, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to support their learning and development. The duration of the training program is set for one year, providing ample time for apprentices to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in their chosen field of study.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

Category – I Graduate Apprentices are required to possess a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a Statutory University in the relevant discipline. They can also qualify with a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline, or through a graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.

On the other hand, Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices must hold a Diploma in Engineering or technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline. Alternatively, they can have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a University in the relevant discipline, or a Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.

AGE: The age limit for eligibility will be strictly adhered to in accordance with the prevailing Apprenticeship Rules and Regulations.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) has the responsibility of creating a shortlist from the online application information. Candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks achieved in the required basic qualification for their respective disciplines. Those who are shortlisted will receive notification through their registered email address. Shortlisted candidates must then attend a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?

Type “A” if you are a student who has previously registered on the former National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and possesses login credentials.

Step 1: a. Go to the website link https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Choose the option for Students
c. Select Student login
d. Click on Forgot Password
e. Input your registered email address to receive the activation link and reset your password.

Step 2: a. Log in as a student
b. Enter your registered email address and create a new password
c. Fill out the application form
d. An individualized Enrollment number (12 digits) will be assigned to each student.

Upon completing the enrollment process on the new portal migration:

To submit an application: a. Sign in using your email address and new password
b. Navigate to “Apply against advertised vacancies”

c. Click on the apply button. Upon completion, you will see the status reflected as “applied.”

Type “C” New applicants must follow these steps to enroll in the National Web Portal:

  1. Visit the URL https://nats.education.gov.in.
  2. Select “Student” and then choose “Student Register.”
  3. Fill out the application form provided.
  4. Upon completion, a unique 12-digit Enrolment Number (ATN) will be assigned to you.
