For instance, consumers falling within the lower consumption range can expect a modest increase of Rs.0.20 to Rs.0.50 per unit. More specifically, those who utilize up to 200 units over two months will see their monthly charges go up by Rs.5. Similarly, consumers in the next tier, using up to 300 units over the same period, will face a larger increase of Rs.15 per month. Moving up the scale, those using up to 400 units will experience a more significant bump in their monthly bills, with an increase of Rs.25. Lastly, consumers who fall within the highest consumption bracket, utilizing up to 500 units for two months, will see the most substantial hike, with an increase of Rs.40 per month.
