TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment Training Period 2024

The TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited) Apprentice Recruitment Training Period for the year 2024 will span over one year. TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

To qualify as a Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentice, the following minimum educational requirements must be met: A Diploma in Engineering or technology awarded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant field on a full-time basis, a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in the relevant discipline on a full-time basis, or a Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.

The age limit for TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment in 2024 will be strictly adhered to in accordance with the Apprenticeship Rules set forth by the governing authorities. Candidates must meet the specified age criteria to be eligible for consideration and participation in the recruitment process.

TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) has taken on the responsibility of creating a list of selected candidates from the online application submissions. Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks achieved in the relevant core qualification for each discipline. Those who are shortlisted will receive notifications through their provided Email addresses. Shortlisted individuals must attend a Certificate Verification session at the TANGEDCO office location.

TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment Application Process 2024

Type ‘A’ – If you are a student who has previously registered on the former National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and possesses login credentials, follow these steps for a seamless transition:

Step 1: a. Visit the URL https://nats.education.gov.in
b. Select the “Student” option
c. Access the “Student login” section
d. Click on “Forgot Password”
e. Input your registered email address to receive an activation link and reset your password.

Step 2: a. Log in as a student
b. Enter your registered email address and create a new password
c. Fill out the application form
d. Each student will be assigned a unique 12-digit Enrollment number upon completion of the enrollment (migration to the new portal) process.

To apply: a. Log in using your email address and the new password
b. Navigate to “Apply against advertised vacancies”
c. Look for “TANGEDCO” and click on “apply”
(You will be able to view the application status as “applied”)

Type ‘B’ – Students who are currently registered on the fresh National Web Portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) and possess login credentials can proceed with the application process as follows:

a. Log in using your email address and password.
b. Navigate to the “Apply against advertised vacancies” section and search for “TANGEDCO.”
c. Click on the apply button.

Upon completion, you will notice the application status displayed as “applied.”

Type ‘C’ – (First time enrollment) If you are a student who has not yet registered on the National Web Portal, follow these steps to enroll:

  1. Visit the URL https://nats.education.gov.in.
  2. Select the “Student” option.
  3. Click on “Student Register” and fill out the application form.
  4. Upon completion, a unique 12-digit Enrolment Number (ATN) will be generated for you.

To proceed with your application:

  1. Log in using your email ID and password.
  2. Navigate to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “TANGEDCO.”
  3. Click on the apply button (you will see the status as “applied”).

Important: Make sure to upload either your Diploma Provisional Certificate or Consolidated Mark Sheet. Providing your percentage of marks in the Diploma Examination is compulsory. Remember to enter this information in the “% of marks” column on the NATS portal. Failure to do so will result in your candidature not being considered.
