RRB Paramedical Recruitment Age Limit 2024
The specified minimum and maximum ages for each position listed in the vacancy chart will be calculated as of January 1, 2025. Candidates’ birth dates must fall within the range provided below (inclusive of both dates). Please note: In consideration of numerous candidates who may have surpassed the age limit and lost the chance to apply for railway recruitment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a one-time age relaxation of three years beyond the designated upper age limit will be granted for Paramedical positions.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment Eligibility 2024
Candidates’ eligibility is provisional and based on their online application details. The RRB will not perform a detailed initial review, so candidates must ensure they meet the educational, age, and medical requirements. Supporting documents will be required during Document Verification. If any claims in the application are unsubstantiated, the candidature will be cancelled. Additionally, if false information is discovered at any stage, the candidature will also be rejected.
RRB Paramedical Recruitment Selection Process 2024
Choosing RRBs and Preferences for Positions: The vacancies listed in this CEN for each RRB and across the Railway are tentative and may fluctuate based on the needs of the respective Railway administrations. Candidates are permitted to select only one RRB and must specify their preferences for the Railway Zones and positions/categories they wish to apply for, provided they meet the eligibility criteria, exclusively within that selected RRB.
Those who make partial selections will be considered solely for the specific Railway Zones and positions/categories they indicated, depending on the availability of vacancies at the time of assignment. Should a candidate fail to select options for particular posts/categories, it will be interpreted as a lack of interest in those roles. Once preferences are submitted, they are deemed final, and no alterations will be accepted.
RRB Paramedical Recruitment Shortlisting Method 2024
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination according to each Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), maintaining a 1:1 ratio with the available positions. This process will rely on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT). To ensure fairness, marks will be normalized for CBTs conducted in different sessions. Those selected for DV will receive notifications through the official RRB websites, as well as SMS and email to their registered mobile numbers and email addresses, allowing them to download their E-call letters for the DV.

Placement: Typically, an employee of the Railway is expected to remain in their assigned position for the duration of their service, without any entitlement to request a transfer to a different Railway or establishment. Nonetheless, the relevant authority holds the power to reassign the employee to another department or Railway establishment, even for projects located within or outside India, based on operational needs. Requests for transfers to different Railways will not be entertained until the newly appointed individual has completed a minimum of 5 to 10 years of service. Therefore, it is advisable for candidates to select their Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) with careful thought and consideration.
Free Train Travel for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2024
SC and ST candidates can request a free Sleeper Class Railway Pass for selection stages like CBT, DV, and Medical Examination, provided they submit a valid caste certificate in their online application. It’s essential to correctly name the Railway Station to avoid rejection of the travel authority. Candidates must show their original community certificate while traveling. Misuse of this facility can result in disqualification from the selection process and future examinations.
