RRB Group D Recruitment (NTPC) 2024: Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Group D examination conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board in 2024 follows a precise and structured pattern to evaluate candidates thoroughly. The RRB Group D 2024 Exam Pattern involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The CBT is a critical component of the examination and is divided into sections covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Candidates are required to complete the CBT within a duration of 90 minutes.

In this section, each correct answer is awarded one mark, but there is a penalty for incorrect responses, with 1/3 of a mark being deducted. The CBT is available in 15 different languages, apart from English and Hindi, to accommodate candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Successful candidates in the CBT are then summoned for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

It is important to note that the Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either a single or multi-stage format, depending on the circumstances. Candidates who clear the CBT must undergo the PET before proceeding to Document Verification and Medical Examination. The detailed exam structures for the CBT are provided below for candidates’ reference and preparation.
