OPSC Assistant Professors Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are required to fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the OPSC Assistant Professor recruitment in 2024:
Education Requirement: Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant field from an accredited Indian or international institution, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
National Eligibility Test (NET): Successful completion of the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor (Stage-1) is mandatory, or candidates should possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject from an Indian or foreign university.
A 5% mark reduction is applicable for candidates from SC, ST, SEBC, and PWD categories, who must achieve a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade.
Age Criteria: Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age on the application deadline date, meaning they should have been born between April 17, 1979, and April 16, 2003.
There is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC/ST/SEBC/Women applicants and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities with a 40% or more impairment.
