Kerala Online Admission System
The Kerala State government has taken a progressive step by launching an online portal for school admissions through the ‘Online Admission System’, streamlining the process for parents and students. Schools in Kerala are categorized as LP and UP schools, where LP refers to Lower Primary encompassing classes 1-5 and UP to Upper Primary comprising classes 6-8. Additionally, there are distinctions between APL (Above Poverty Line) and BPL (Below Poverty Line) ration cards, with the former issued to households living above the poverty line and the latter serving families in need of additional support.
