HSRP Number Plate Odisha 2024: Vehicle manufacturers and their authorized dealers will exclusively handle the installation of the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP). The authorized HSRP provider designated by the manufacturers will supply the plates to their approved dealers for installation, including on older vehicles.
To promote transparency and avoid excessive charges, vehicle owners are required to schedule the HSRP fitting and complete payment through an OEM-authorized online platform. This platform enables owners to select a dealer, location, and installation date that suits them best. Furthermore, owners will receive order status updates through SMS from the authorized portal.
For transparency purposes, OEMs and their dealers must clearly display the charges for HSRP installation at their showrooms and on the designated HSRP portal. They may also offer additional services for installing HSRP at a different location for an additional fee, with the owner’s approval.
Upon affixing the HSRP, OEMs or their dealers must update the laser code in the VAHAN portal. Vehicles lacking a valid Registration Certificate, Fitness Certificate (for Transport Vehicles), or those with outstanding tax dues will not be eligible for HSRP installation by OEMs or their authorized dealers. OEMs are obligated to make necessary adjustments to their portal in accordance with these guidelines.
