Bangla Sahayata Kendra 2024: The State Government of West Bengal has established 3561 Bangla Sahayata Kendras (BSKs) to provide free government services online at the grassroots level. The BSKs offer 260 public services from 40 different departments, and all services can also be accessed online. The project is coordinated by the Personnel & Administrative Reforms and e-Governance Department, with oversight from a Project Management Unit at the state level. Services are provided free of charge to citizens.

Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK) 2024
The Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK) is a government initiative established by the State Government to offer free government services at the grassroots level through online platforms. A total of 3561 BSKs have been established across the state with the aim of enhancing access to information regarding social and developmental schemes. Setup of Bangla Sahayata Kendra
The government of West Bengal established the Bangla Sahayata Kendra in October 2020 as part of the National e-Governance Plan. To oversee the BSKs, a Programme Management Unit was formed in October 2021, responsible for their supervision and control. The governing body consists of government officials and additional members appointed over time. Currently, 3561 BSKs are operational, with plans to open 1464 more by the end of 2023.
These centers offer e-Wallet services for online transactions and are monitored by a Project Management Unit to ensure efficient operation. Monitoring of BSKs occurs daily at both state and district levels through a dedicated portal and personnel team. Furthermore, the BSKs will also provide Aadhaar services at the grassroots level, led by UIDAI.

The Bangla Sahayata Kendra in West Bengal provides welfare programs closer to people, offering various government services through an online portal. It aims to empower minority women and youth through micro-finance and term loans. Additionally, it issues caste certificates for reservation benefits and offers the Banglashree scheme to improve ease of doing business in the state.
Bangla Sahayata Kendra’s Objective | Support & Aid
The BCW Department issues various social welfare schemes including Kanyashree, Rupashree, Swasthya Saathi, Krishak Bandhu, SaboojSathi, Sufal Bangla, Manabik, Yuvasree, Lakshmir Bhandar, and others in West Bengal.
A caste certificate is provided by the department to enable citizens to avail reservation benefits.
To operate a Two, Three, Four-wheeler or more, individuals need a driving license issued by the Department of Transport.
The digital Ration Card offered by the Department of Food and Supplies can be downloaded through the BSK portal.
The Fresh Term Loan Application is designed to offer soft loans to minority youth for small and medium enterprises, thereby assisting them in enhancing their financial status.

Bangla Sahayata Kendra Centers List – Find One Near You
Currently, there are 3561 BSKs operational in 23 districts of the state, situated within various administrative offices such as District Magistrates’ offices, Sub-divisional officers’ offices, Block Development Officers’ offices, Health centers, Urban Local Bodies, Government-assisted libraries, and school Sub-Inspector offices. To locate the nearest BSK, you can access the online portal at https://bsk.wb.gov.in/findbsk. The operating hours of BSK centers are from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 05:00 PM. Presently, these BSKs offer a total of 260 services, including essential services like application processing for Swasthya Sathi card, Digital Ration Card, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Kanyashree, and Aikyashree. There are no service charges applicable for accessing government services through BSKs; all services are provided free of cost.
