Himachal Pradesh RTE School Admission 2025-26: Notification, Online Portal
Himachal Pradesh RTE Private School Admission List 2025-26 PDF: The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 in India is a significant legislation that has been implemented across all States and Union Territories under the guidelines of the central government. Virtually every State government is actively putting the scheme into practice, albeit with minor variations in the nomenclature.
The core objective of the initiative remains intact – to ensure that 25% of the available seats in unaided private schools are reserved for children from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups. Accordingly, a quarter of the total class strength in class 1 or any starting classes of Kindergarten in such private schools should be allocated to children from underprivileged backgrounds. The list of RTE admissions is required to be prominently displayed on the Notice Board of the respective schools, providing a valuable opportunity for economically disadvantaged children to secure admission in private schools and access free education.
