KPSC Notification 2025: Group-A, B, C Exam, Admit Card, Result and Salary
KPSC Notification 2025: Karnataka Govt Job Openings: The Karnataka Public Service Commission is currently operational from a new office building named “Udyogo Soudha”. The Commission administers the Service/Departmental Examinations required for government officials as outlined in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (Conduct of Service Examination) Rules of 1965 and Karnataka Civil Services (Service and Kannada Language Examinations) Rules of 1974. These examinations are held twice annually, with the first session running from January to June and the second from July to December. They are conducted based on the syllabus specified in government general or special orders. The Departmental Examinations take place biannually in three stages.
For subjects with a high volume of applicants, examinations are conducted in all districts during the first stage. Subjects with fewer applicants are tested in selected nine districts in the second stage, while some subjects are examined exclusively in Bengaluru during the third stage. State Government employees in New Delhi and All India Service Probationers can take the exams at Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi, and Lalbahadur Shastri Academy in Mussorie.
The Commission holds examinations in two sessions and issues a notification in the Karnataka Gazette two months before the exam date, inviting online applications. Information about result publication, the next examination date, and application deadlines are also announced in two widely circulated daily newspapers in the state. The examinations consist of 19 papers covering 13 different subjects in a traditional format with central evaluation, while 98 papers covering 63 subjects are conducted in an objective multiple-choice format (OMR). Detailed subject information is provided in the candidate instructions accompanying this communication.
