  • Legal Assistant: Degree in Law and minimum 3 years of experience in handling legal cases. Age limit: 23 to 35 years.
  • Stenographer: Minimum qualification is 12th pass. Age limit: 18 to 27 years.
  • Computer Operator: Candidates must have a BCA/B.Sc. or BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) degree. Age limit: 18 to 30 years.
  • Catering Supervisor: A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized institution, 10 years of service in Defence, and a trade proficiency certificate in Catering are mandatory. Age limit: Up to 35 years.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (HQ/RO Cadre): Senior Secondary certificate, minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi, and a pass in +2 level Senior Secondary with Secretarial Practices and Office Management as Vocational Subjects. Age limit: 18 to 27 years.

RRB ALP Recruitment Age Limit 2024

Candidates applying for the RRB ALP Recruitment in 2024 must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 30 years by July 1, 2024. There are provisions for certain groups to request an extension of the maximum age limit with the appropriate documentation. Specifically, SC & ST applicants can add 5 years to their upper age limit, while OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are allowed a 3-year extension. Women who are widowed, divorced, or judicially separated and have not remarried are entitled to a relaxation in the upper age limit, allowing for 35 years for UR & EWS, 38 years for OBC (NCL), and 40 years for SC & ST candidates.

As for Course Completed Act Apprentices applying for roles that require ITI/Course Completed Act Apprenticeship as the minimum qualification, their upper age limit can be adjusted based on the length of their Apprentice Training under the Apprentice Act 1961. Those who finished their Course Act Apprenticeship before reaching 25 years old can avail themselves of an increased age limit of 35 years for UR & EWS, 38 years for OBC (NCL), and 40 years for SC & ST aspirants.

RRB ALP Qualification 2024 – Requirements and Eligibility
